March has been a hectic month for Colorado.
Avalanches wreaked havoc on the high country, shutting down ski resorts and blocking highways. Some ski resorts announced season extensions while Vail Resorts announced a new ski pass.
People hit the slopes across the state, trying to get the most out of spring skiing before the resorts close for the season. They took over the small town of Nederland for the annual Frozen Dead Guy Days. And they drove up to Leadville to watch skiers be pulled down the street by horses during the annual ski joring weekend.
