So, you’ve been watching the Olympics on TV or online and now you’ve got “curling fever” and want to try to “throw a rock at a house,” eh?
Stop by the Denver Curling Club and give it your best slide!
The Denver Curling Club is hosting public open houses Feb. 10, 11, 13, 17 and 18 that include on-ice instruction, mini games, live game demonstrations and broadcasts of Olympic competitions from Pyeongchang.
Club members will be on hand before, during and after instruction to answer questions about the game, strategy, equipment and how you can get involved in the sport.
The Denver Curling Club holds regular recreational and competitive leagues for children, teens and adults, fall through late spring.
Olympics Open House instruction (for ages 13 and older) and a mini game costs $20 and includes a soft drink.
